Summer Boost Scholarship at the Waverly Group

I can’t thank Magnify Austim enough for this incredible summer journey with their partnership with The Waverly Group. Angelina was always excited to go and never wanted to leave, which is fantastic for any parent. The staff was friendly, open-minded, and very resourceful. What I loved about The Waverly Group is how open-minded they are to each child and allow them to be themselves; there is no doubt that The Waverly Group influenced Angelina’s growth by giving her confidence in her skills and knowledge. You know the staff is there for the right reasons.

I couldn’t thank Magnify Austim enough and those who worked with Angelina. It’s a blessing to receive this scholarship and helped change my family's life.

I always believed that things would fall into place if you continue the journey, and that couldn’t be more true than receiving the Summer Boost Scholarship at the Waverly Group. Angelina was recently diagnosed with Autism and severe developmental delays in November 2022. She is currently receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (SLP), and soon-to-be Physical Therapy (PT). As all services are essential to Angelina, her speech was the most significant concern for her family. For months, we’d ask, “Will she talk?” yet nobody could answer, which would always result in suggesting services. Watching Angelina work so hard in her sessions just to talk, essentials that people take for granted, are just one of the life lessons Angelina brings to life. But because of people who worked one-on-one with Angelina and with her hard work, she answered my question. She can talk.

Riley's Testimony

We can’t thank Magnify Autism enough for awarding our daughter, Riley, with the summer boost scholarship at the Waverly Group. Through the scholarship, Riley was able to receive additional ABA, Speech, and OT services. Riley had a fantastic 6 weeks at the Waverly group and it truly opened our eyes to what great therapy can accomplish. We are grateful for the professional and specialized staff at the Waverly group for making every session fun and exciting for our daughter. We are beyond grateful to have met Johanna, Ali, and Nido! We thank your beautiful family from the bottom of our hearts for this opportunity for our sweet Riley!

Mason's Testimony

Hi , we are here to introduce ourselves as the mom and dad of an amazing 2 year old little boy named Mason that has brought all the joy and love into our hearts since the day he was born. Mason has always been and still is filled with laughter, curiousness and energetic. One of his favorite activities to do is look and observe all types of animals and wildlife. He also loves to climb and jump, run and laugh. Watching our son Mason grow since his birth so far as been the greatest years of our lives.

Approximately 6 months ago as Mason was turning 2 years old we’ve noticed he wasn’t communicating or speaking as much a we thought a 2 year old should be. As first time parents we knew very little of this amazing journey. And would normally speak to other parents with more experience and we were always told that by the age of 2 our son Mason should have been speaking at least saying “mommy and daddy” . We thought to ourselves maybe our son Mason was going to come around to speaking because we also knew that not every child develops at the same time. Some take more time then others we thought. Until we spoke to some other parents that have gone through the same and recommended us to look into “early intervention”. Just as we were thinking of who to reach out to we were blessed and were put in contact by a family member with Johanna, her husband Ali and got to also have the pleasure of meeting their little boy Nido.

Johanna and Ali are the founders of this amazing amazing program called “Magnify Autism”. Them along with the team of therapists worked with our son Mason on his speech and communication skills. This was a TRUE blessing from GOD. Also durning this time we were going through a financial hardship. And when Magnify Autism told us that the level of expertise in these great therapists was the absolute best we thought we weren’t able to afford it. But yet another! blessing was presented when they also told us that the the time our son was going be there for wasn’t going to add to our financial hardship! All I can say is we prayed and GOD heard us. After just his first week of speech therapy we started to right away notice how he was starting to make sounds of his favorite animals and in that same week learn to speak by naming each one of the animals. I will never forget when one of the therapists sent us a video of him making animal sounds and saying the names of his favorite animals it brought tears to our eyes immediately. As soon as we saw how eager he was to speak we did everything possible to keep getting him the help he needed daily to keep him learning. Magnify Autism was a MAJOR stepping stone for our son in his journey of learning to speak and communicate . If it wasn’t for Magnify Autism we probably would have not heard our son speak so quickly. The level of expertise was in Mason’s ability to speak and communicate. We love and are forever grateful with Magnify. Thank You Johanna and Ali, for putting together such beautiful organization to help a lot of children like our son. To help children and parents alike to share the joy of seeing their child start to communicate. The amount of children I believe this organization will go on to help now and in the future will be blessings to come. Once again THANK YOU!…no words I think can ever describe the help hope and love we received from Magnify Autism.
